The short version: Notekhana does not collect, transmit, store or share any of your personal information. It has no account system, no servers, and does not request the Android internet permission, so it is not technically capable of sending your notes anywhere.
Nothing.
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, device identifiers, advertising ID, usage analytics or crash reports.
Notekhana requests no Android permissions at all. You can verify this yourself at any time:
Notably, Notekhana does not request the internet permission. An Android app without that permission cannot open a network connection.
Your notes, tasks and tags are saved in a single file inside Notekhana's private application storage on your device. Android isolates this directory to Notekhana alone — other apps installed on your phone cannot read it.
Android's automatic backup is switched off for Notekhana
(android:allowBackup="false"). This means your notes are
not copied to Google Drive backup and are not
transferred when you set up a new phone. The only copy is the one on your device.
Two features hand text to other apps, and both are started by you:
Both open Android's standard share sheet with plain text. You choose which app receives it. Notekhana does not select the destination and does not send anything on its own. Once you pass text to another app — a messaging app, an email client, a cloud notes app — that text is handled under that app's privacy policy.
Because there is no server and no backup, deletion is final and there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Notekhana does not run in the background and does not send notifications. Due dates are labels shown inside the app, not alarms.
Notekhana contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
Notekhana is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
If a future version of Notekhana ever changes what it accesses, this policy and the Play Data safety declaration will be updated before that version is released.
